Joani and Steven had the best of both worlds with outdoor vibes of the beach and ocean combined with the iconic and stunning Golden Gate Bridge in the background. Joani and Steven wanted to incorporate San Francisco in their photos since it’s an important place for them, while keeping an outdoorsy vibe, so Crissy Field Beach was the perfect San Francisco location to tell their love story. This beautiful beach spot is easily accessible, and boasts an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge for your San Francisco engagement photos.

Easily Accessible Location for Engagement Photos in San Francisco

One of my personal favorite things about this location for engagement photos in San Francisco is how close it is to the parking area… this makes it the perfect spot for playful couples who want to have a fun, free spirited time because they can easily change their outfits, clean up, or warm up in the car after running around the beach barefoot and getting a little sandy! It’s really the best of both worlds.

I always recommend we start an engagement session about an hour before sunset, because it allows for the most beautiful lighting. And of course, what is more romantic than watching the sunset on the beach with your future spouse?! Since this beach can get quite busy, we did this photoshoot on a weekday so there were fewer people at the beach, and more room for us to play around and capture the best memories! We had this area to ourselves and it could not have been more perfect.
