They spent the morning cooking breakfast together excited about the day ahead.
They got ready together and wrote their vows next to each other under the canopy of the redwoods before spending the day adventuring around the redwood forest.
J & L then ventured to the coastline, where said their vows to each other on a cliff overlooking the ocean as the waves crashed against the shore. They had the entire cliffside to themselves, soaking in the sunset as they shared a cake and toasted to their elopement with their favorite craft beers.
It was this moment that I knew why I am so passionate about being an elopement photographer in Big Sur.
I pour my heart into crafting unforgettable, meaningful experiences - the most special day that you'll look back on for years to come.
Your unique love story deserves an elopement day that is truly you, and I can't wait to bring your vision to life in Big Sur.
Hey! I'm Kasey
Kasey was an absolute pleasure to work with! From the moment I inquired working with her the communication was great! She was super transparent and let us know days when she wouldn't be available since she would be traveling. We decided in late May to get married in mid August which wasn't a lot of time. Kasey helped us secure our wedding location in Big Sur and provided recommendations to vendors. She even gave us sneak peeks within 24 hours! We love all the pictures that were sent to us, and are so thankful to Kasey for capturing our special day.

Where to elope in Big Sur? How to elope in Big Sur? In this guide you’ll find everything you need to know to plan your Big Sur Elopement!
Budgeting can feel overwhelming, this guide will help navigate budgeting for your Big Sur elopement as well as tips for being cost-effective.
There's something breathtakingly intimate about saying your vows beneath the canopy of the redwoods in Big Sur. These towering trees become a silent witness to your marriage as you start the rest of your lives together in the most peaceful setting, listening to the sounds of the forest. You can wake up under the redwoods, and spend your day hiking around the beautiful trails and creeks.
All is quiet except the crashing of the waves against the bluffs as you say your vows to each other on a rocky bluff in Big Sur. Spend the afternoon sharing a delicious lunch on the beach and end your best day ever exploring the coastal bluffs hand in hand watching the sun set over the ocean.
I recommend around 6-12 months before you want to elope! This gives us plenty of time to plan your dream day and make sure you get to experience everything you're envisioning for your elopement.
I send you a sneak peek of 15-30 images within 24 hours of your elopement! This way you can share your news with family and friends immediately. You will receive the full gallery within a month of your elopement day.
Absolutely! If the location permits, we can plan for and accommodate up to 15 guests. However, keep in mind that as the guest count increases, logistical challenges like parking, seating, and bathroom availability can limit your location options.
I guarantee a minimum of 50 photos per hour of coverage, but I usually give much more than that! It all depends on the activities throughout your day.
Absolutely! I will photograph your elopement anywhere in the world.
Yes, in Big Sur you are required to have an officiant for a legal marriage. You can have a friend or family member get ordained and officiate your ceremony, or hire an officiant. If he's available, my partner can also officiate for you!
For most locations including national parks, state parks and BLM land a permit is required. I will contact the parks for you and help you acquire the correct permits so you don't need to stress about them.
Elopements give us the opportunity to explore some of the earth’s most epic places, but while we do so it’s important to remember to take care of and be respectful of our environment. As a Big Sur elopement photographer, I make sure to practice leave no trace principles in all of my activities, including elopements.
