Sunrise Elopement in Big Sur | TJ & Gabby

Big Sur is a magical place to get married, and eloping at sunrise makes it all the more whimsical. TJ & Gabby met me at a pull off on the side of the road I had sent them a pin for, and we turned on our headlamps and headed off down the trail in the dark. Once we got to our first spot, the first bit of daylight had started to show. Gabby and TJ lit their lanterns, and explored the area hand in hand for some stunning couples photos on the coast. The ocean was putting on a show with huge, splashing waves, really giving Gabby and TJ the immersive nature experience they had hoped for. That’s my favorite part of sunrise elopements in Big Sur – you get the place to yourself and can really take in your surroundings. You can feel the waves crashing against the bluffs beneath your feet, hear the roar of the ocean and feel the wind in your hair as the most stunning coast line comes to life in the early morning. As an outdoor lover, experiencing scenes like this with your partner is beyond romantic, and creates the best memories for an elopement day.
